Barlow Fire Dept Hall at 2005 Taneytown Rd, Gettysburg PA. Instructional
manuals will be posted
and available for
downloading from the Federal Volunteer website,
http://www.federalvolunteerbrigade.org.
All company officers and respective NCO’s, including
corporals,
are requested to attend.
There will be a $5.00 donation requested to cover expenses.

1st Regiment Drill

Member
companies will be drilling in regimental, and battalion
formations at the Mason-
Dixon Discovery Center, site of the regimental Drill last year. The
drill will be held from 9
AM until about 3 PM. The Mason Dixon Doiscovery Center is located on
Rt. 15 Southbound,
just north of Emmitsburg, MD. The drill will be held in the rear of the
facility. Lunch is
available in the town of Emmitsburg, or bring your own.

146th Battle of New Market, in New Market, VA., fought May 15,
1864. Emphasis on the
role of the Virginia Military Institute Cadets in the battle. Combat
scenarios each day, other
living history presentations throughout weekend. Over 2,000
Confederate, Union, & civilian
reenactors. Features 300-acre battlefield, Hall of Valor Museum,
restored Bushong Farm.
Museum has exhibits on Battle of New Market and Civil War in
Virginia-artifacts, dioramas,
interactive computer kiosks. Emmy Award-winning film, "Field of Lost
Shoes," shown every
hour, two other films shown continuously. Information on schedule
